BHC made a step towards greener consumption. Viljandi’s company Eleväli installed a solar plant with a capacity of 100 kW. The goal for us is to consume all the energy we produce. Residual energy, if there will be any, we sell back to the grid.
In August, we consumed approx. 11% from the solar energy. Since installation, using solar energy has saved 1,37 tons of coal and 1,63 tons of CO2 emission. That’s a start.
